Paamul started 40 years ago as  a Coconut Ranch, in this time the farm operated producing copra which was manufacturated and then sent by boat to the city of Merida.

With this product the people made oil and other products.

The owner of this farm Mr Francisco Martin Vazquez  Mrs Eloisa Zapata his
wife and their son LAE Francisco Martin Zapata are the current owners of
Paamul.

Mrs Eloisa and Mr Francisco started this turist complex.

Always taking care of the environment and the typical costums of the region.

They were the  pioneers in the construction of 10 lodges for the national and international turists.

Nowadays they have 20 lodges and 250 places for trailer park.
